CNA Leadership in Risk Control Award 2016

(08/16) – Pieros Construction Co., Inc. today announced that it had received a Leadership in Risk Control Award from CNA, the seventh largest U.S. commercial insurance carrier.

“Pieros Construction strongly believes in the importance of accident prevention and creating a safe work environment, both for our customers and employees,” said Rich Pieros. “We are pleased to have our efforts acknowledged by CNA.“

“Pieros Construction has taken a proactive approach to a safer work environment and product safety issued by educating themselves about common risks in their industry, identifying problem areas in advance and then implementing the necessary steps to help prevent an accident or business disruption from occurring,” said Jason Karamanol, Risk Control Consulting Director of CNA. “We consider Pieros Construction to be an industry role model with regard to these important workplace and product issues.”

CNA’s Leadership in Risk Control Award recognizes customers who take the initiative to create a safer, more productive workplace, encourage behaviors that prevent accidents and prepare for potential business disruptions.

Governor’s Continued Excellence Award 2016

(05/16) – The NJ State Industrial Safety Committee working within the NJ Department of Labor and Workforce Development has awarded Pieros Construction Co., Inc. of Somerville the Governor’s Continued Excellence Award for five or more consecutive years without any work-related lost time from injury and illness.

The award, the committee’s highest honor, recognizes outstanding achievement in the prevention of work place injury and illness. Pieros Construction’s owners Rich and Jean Pieros put safety in the forefront. They believe that their employees are their most valuable asset.

It is their policy that every person is entitled to a safe and healthful place in which to work. As such, the company invests in the latest state of the art safety equipment, performs unannounced random job site safety audits, and hold regular training for all employees.

PCCI Receives GAF Presidents Club Award

(04/15) – GAF announced that Pieros Construction Co., Inc. of Somerville, NJ is again the winner of the prestigious GAF Presidents Club Award. Being recognized as one of the best, brightest, and most supportive GAF Master Select Contractors.

To achieve this status, a company must consistently demonstrate the capability and resources necessary to perform the highest quality work to help protect your valuable investment. In all, less then 1% of the contractors in the US have qualified for the prestigious Master Select distinction.

Governor’s Safety Award 2015

(04/15) – For the 5th Consecutive year, Pieros Construction is the recipient of a safety award presented by the New Jersey Sate Industrial Safety Committee. 2015 marked the 87th anniversary of the Governor’s Occupational Safety and Health Awards Program. Since its inception, this program has played an important role in promoting a safer and healthier work place. it is sponsored by the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development, the New Jersey Sate Industrial Safety Committee and the New Jersey State Safety Council. It gives recognition to individual employers without standing performance in the prevention of work place injuries.
